Navigate the Map
- Click "Get Started" on the home page or navigate directly to the query-building preview page
- Drag to pan across the map
- Scroll or pinch to zoom in/out
- Position determines preview and final report geographies
- Click "access & download" to use a token for full data access
- Verify desired geographies and metrics before finalizing
Select Geographies
- Explore our complete list of available geographies including states, counties, ZIPs (ZCTAs), census tracts, and more
Access advanced subgeographies (rural/urban, etc.) for specific US geographies. This feature is only available for United States, Region, Division, and State levels.
Choose Data Year
- Pick the desired year from the dropdown menu
Visualize Metrics on Map
- Select metrics to visualize on the map
- Find and choose metrics using the Explore Metrics button more detail here before finalizing your report
Interpret Results
- Preview data points by clicking the map in Free Preview mode
- Green indicates lower values, red shows higher values
- Access full report to view and share all data points
- You can download CSVs and embed your reports on your own website (or set to private) using the controls on the my reports page
